Great Strawberry tower. Purchased two for 35 bareroot strawberry plants. The plants are thriving now! Very sturdy unit and easy to assemble.

I highly recommend planting one layer at a time and thoroughly watering each layer prior to assembling the tower (versus filling with soil and then planting).

This is great planter that can fit in a smaller space (apartments)
Purchased this for my daughter who grows everything. She needs something for small spaces. This is great planter that can fit in a smaller space (apartments, small patio). You can use as many tiers as you want. I like the fact that it is plastic, so it is light weight. I know she is going to love it. Herbs for everyone!

    Good except for variable wetness
Strawberries are growing well. You have to remember to water them a lot. The bottom layer tends to get much wetter feet than the top layer so there will be some variability in the wetness or the soil. On the positive side, the strawberries hang out over the sides of each layer so they are less likely to get ground rot,

I love this product. Get nothing but wows every time someone sees my over growing crops of herbs. (I use it to grow herbs). The only thing I do different from the instructions is water each pots. When I bring it in for the winter I will depend more on the drip system as I don’t want water on my rug.

Can’t wait to try this out. It’s actually larger than I had expected. I’m planning on planting herbs, strawberries and flowers!

Pretty, but thirsty plants. Prepare to water.
Arrived in good condition with all parts and exactly as shown and described.
so I am giving it 4 stars based on that.

HOWEVER, there are a few design issues that are not their fault, and I’ve decided not to dock them for this, as it may not be an issue for your needs, please read on.

If you have this in direct sunlight like mine is, we have to water it A LOT.
Also, I noticed that the top tier only seems to drip down every other tier, so you have to drip from the second tier too, if you want the waterfall effect while watering.

I may change my system over to a wick style for watering by setting it on a underground bucket and having the pole have holes with strings or something that can pull up the water from the bucket. It’s just way too dry.

I bought this item for my strawberries and I like it. So far I had it for more …
So far I had it for more than two months and still looks like new, not bad for the price.

    Great product!
I bought this for my strawberry plants and I love it! It is incredibly convenient and I placed it right on my front porch and the plants grow very well in it. One does need to keep the plants well watered, as the dirt dries out quite quickly, so I water it almost every day. This is a great product and I would highly recommend it to others!

Planter looks fabulous & holds my strawberries perfectly.
I received my planter a while ago but were waiting for my Strawberry seeds from Japan. Never received them so I bought 25 bare root strawberries. Received 26. Over a dozen actually had leaves on the bare root. Anyway, planted the 20. Looks fabulous. Planted the other 6 in a pot. Might buy another one of these for other berries. Love it.

It was more than I expected. It held 25 strawberry plants. It was fun to set up and the grand daughters love to water it and watch the plants grow. So fun and a learning experience…with the prize of fruit. No down side.

This product is perfect for a patio or small space and you want …
to grow plants and do not have any to use single pots. I am very satisfied with this purchase and will in the future by more to expand.

We’re in Portland and this planter is on our barbecue deck. So when our neighbors are out there we get a lot of “where did you get that?” questions. Very clever design and the strawberries seem to love it. We’re all looking forward to June.

Light, easy to move but plastic looking
It’s ok. More plastic looking in reality than I expected. Does work well and once the plants drape down should look nice.

Obvious choice for strawberries. Would make a fun herb garden too. I planted several varieties of strawberries in mine. All are doing very well. I like that the berries hang over the sides, and thus are less prone to rot and other nastiness. I also have some dwarf basil growing in a section. I could definitely see the benefit of using one as an herb garden.

This 5-tiered Stacking Vertical Garden is an interesting design. I purchased two sets to grow strawberries in my greenhouse. The tiered pots are lightweight and well conceived. Planting was effortless. A ¾” PVC pipe inserted through the center hole from top to bottom does add stability to the stack. I am using a drip watering system and watching the tiered pots work is fascinating. Now that I have these I keep thinking of additional uses.

    Disappointed but maybe my fault?
I must be doing something wrong as it got such good reviews. My strawberry plants have done nothing except getting reddish brown leaves. I have another one in a hanging basket that was doing much better so I fear it will suffer the same fate. I figured I’d have to experiment

Works wonders keeping my strawberries up off the ground. Have a wonderful crop this year thanks to the mr stacky. I also used some spots for herb. Not recommended for growing top-heavy plants.

Not very good for plants that die in standing water
Tower stands well and allows plants enough room. It however does tend to flood the bottom tier. My bottom tier is all dead.

Bought 2 Mr. Stacky for back patio. They work very well for strawberries, flowers and some other vegetables. We get big storms and wind here on the gulf coast so I got a 1 inch by 36 inch piece of pvc pipe that fits perfectly through the larger middle hole and slid this down the middle of stack. Then used a steel stake 36 inches long, drove it in ground 18 inches and then set the hole stack over the stake for stability. Super sturdy. Now I just sit back and watch my berries grow. Great Product. Will likely get another one..

LOVED the stacking planter and I also LOVED the GMO-free strawberry plants I ordered through Mr. Stacky. The plants arrived in a plastic bag. Two days later I took them out and gave them a brief soaking before planting them. Within one week EVERY ONE OF THEM had grown and had leaves, and one even had a white flower. See the attached photo which shows the plants exactly one week after planting the bare-roots. At this rate we’ll have strawberries before the end of the month. AMAZING!
