About: Love the easy no watering, I’m not a good gardener either I over water or don’t water my plants at all very hit and miss. Mr Stacky has made me love gardening again. I’m getting fantastic results from my strawberries and my herbs are taking off now too.

I would suggest getting the solar panel because I can move it anywhere with full sun. My house has only a few power points outside and you don’t trip over power cords.

About: Three 7-Tier towers freshly packed with coconut coir. I have them set up in a small hothouse with a 100lt nutrient tank. Since the floor of the hothouse is paved I set the towers up using umbrella stands. Can’t wait to get planting this weekend!

About: I am new to the whole grow your own at home idea. I chose Mr Stacky for the convenience of having a garden that took up little room, self watered/fertilised and as I went with Solar powered, also requires no electricity. It was extremely easy to setup and plant. I have interplanted with good bug plants to hopefully encourage good bugs to the planter to keep away those pesky pests. Mine is currently overgrown as I missed the thinning out period as we were not home for the initial growing phase. Another bonus it looked after itself while we were away. I love my Mr Stacky, it is a great way to be introduced to the art of growing your own greens.

About: I have the 9 tower and the 4 tower tomato system. I also have a smart farm tower garden. I’ve had the 13 towers in for a month with a dual fertiliser injector setup and you can already see the amazing growth. I also use the smart farm tower for herbs and flowers. I have used hydroponics before and know of the great benefits, but this is the first time I’ve done it on this scale. Loving it and hope to get most of my veggie needs covered with these systems using the rotational system. Looking forward to seeing more good growth now that the weather has started to warm up in Canberra!

About: We started with one tower, and added a second the next year. That allowed us to stagger the start times to lengthen our basil growing season. We set each tower on a wheeled base to reposition it for best sunlight. This got us lots more hours of sunlight on a partially shaded patio. We have grown bushels of basil! We live in harsh South Texas with brutal heat and little rain. Without our towers we could not manually regulate the water supply consistently enough for a high yield. Our towers perfect our growing conditions.

About: Finally, today I converted my customised seven-tier MrStacky unit back to a hydroponic unit, after using it as a high pressure 50 Micron aeroponic’s unit for the past eight months. The pic’s show I have literally just finished filling with Coco Coir and switched the pump on. Looks great and I’m looking forward to planting all the seedling I have ready. I blanked out the second tier outside drain hole (Pic04) with rubber pull through plugs and had acrylic blanks lasered out of acrylic to stop sunlight from entering the reservoir. These also help lock the first tier into place. Then added four extra nutrient supply feeds to help even the flow to each clover. You know what I’ll be doing tomorrow..PLANTING!!!

About: I have been an avid gardener for decades however, mainly in the tropics where plants go so easily. Moving to the ACT meant I had to investigate new methods of growing plats. Mr Stacky hydroponic towers have enabled me to grow a vast array of herbs, vegetables and flowers throughout the seasons.

The nutrient base within the water makes for fast growing and germination. The quality of the plants is amazing – I have never seen such deep green and huge baby spinach leaves! The watering system is set on the recommended time setting (1 minute, 3 times a day) which makes for an easy watering system. We can go away and know that the plants will be taken care off. Don’t be afraid to try a variety of seeds/punnets in each section. Everything grows! Best of all is the taste of the herbs and vegetables that are grown – so crisp and sweet.

I would certainly recommend Mr Stacky to any home gardener. So simple to set up and maintain.

About: I started with a 5-tier Medium Tower in July of this year to start a balcony garden for the kids and I to enjoy fresh produce year-round. I added a 5-tier Large Tower in August as my obsession and gardening plans grew!

Having never started a garden before, let alone a balcony hydroponic tower garden, I spend at least an hour a day reading to improve my knowledge. I’ve also learned a lot through trial and error over the last few months.

We have a south-facing apartment balcony that starts getting sunlight around midday, so I move the towers around to optimise the amount of sun the towers get over the afternoon.

Our first Sweet 100 Tomatoes and Spacemaster Cucumbers grown from seed should be ready for harvest over the next few weeks. As well as herbs and strawberries we are also growing lettuce, rocket, kale, spinach, mustard greens, snowpeas for salad leaves; as well radishes, beetroot, carrots, spring onions…. and more!

As I’m a geek, I’m currently converting a Google Sheets spreadsheet into an Airtable database, to help predict and record germination, maturity and harvest dates, as well as help with succession planting across the two towers.

My tips for new growers:

1. If you have younger kids, while they enjoy planting seeds, they can get impatient waiting for the plants to get established. Plant a mix of well-established seedlings and seeds in the tower(s) to begin so the kids can get instant gratification and then still have the excitement of checking for new seedlings every day.

2. Invest in a heat mat, seedling tray and grow light to help propagate seedlings indoors, especially in winter months. This can also help with your succession planting.

3. Expect to become obsessed with your Mr Stacky garden!

About: So a tip when setting up the tower if you have any vegetables that grow as a vine, the best way to encourage them is to plant them at the top and provide a structure behind or in between the towers. Worked really well for our cherry tomatoes plants and nasturtiums. Happy planting!

About: Being a first time vertical gardener I wanted a good quality compact system. Mr Stacky was the answer.

It was easy to set up and looks great. All the info was so helpful and the videos are fantastic.

These pics are just a few days after planting my very first seedlings , look how happy and healthy they are. My tip to first time purchasers is read and watch all of the info before making a start, it makes things so easy. All my three towers are planted and now I ( and my neighbours who are very interested ) can’t wait to reap the rewards. Now alI I need is more towers.   Thanks Mr Stacky
